Hi and welcome to BEST BUDDIES the pet dog training academy where you and your best buddy can have fun, learn and train together!

Owning a dog is tremendous fun and very rewarding - even more so if your dog is well trained. Proper training strengthens the bond between a pet and its owner and makes for a happier and more sociable dog.

Established by Gold Level qualified dog trainer Jan Rawlings, Best Buddies Pet Dog Training offers classes to suit all stages from Puppy Foundation Courses to Advanced Levels.

Jan is passionate about using methods that are kind yet effective. Her approach is all about making the experience an enjoyable one for pets and their owners. Jan believes that whilst high quality training is important, it is also crucial to develop the socialisation skills of your dog in relation to humans, other dogs and the world in which we live.

A trained dog is a happy dog and a happy dog has a proud owner!

Best Buddies welcomes puppies and dogs of all ages and abilities to its classes- there is a class suitable for everyone and this includes dogs which may have a disability like deafness for example (however if your dog has an aggression issue, it may be more suitable to start with one-to-one training, which we will be happy to undertake for you - please see 'Behaviour Consultation' section on this website)
